On 8, 9 and 10 May the "European Workshop LIFE16 - Good Local Adapt". in Bilbao and Balmaseda. The event, with a European focus, was attended by representatives of various European LIFE projects focusing on climate change adaptation at the local level, who shared experiences on tools, methodologies and pilot projects to support climate risk reduction in municipalities. On the morning of the 9th, a visit was made to the site where the prototype demonstration building for adaptation to climate change will be developed in Balmaseda. In this prototype, innovative water management, insulation and green infrastructure solutions will be implemented, customised and approved by the citizens through the participation process carried out in the GLA project. And in the afternoon, a group dynamic was held, which gave rise to interesting debates and conclusions.
