1. Beneficiaries:
SMEs whose project activity is located in the Autonomous Community of Murcia, in any sector of activity except those involved in fishing and aquaculture, primary production of agricultural products listed in Annex I of the Treaty, and the purchase of road freight vehicles granted to companies that carry out road freight transport operations for hire or reward.
2. Object:
The purpose of this call, in accordance with the concession system provided for in Article 22 of Law 7/2005, of 18 November, on Subsidies of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, is to promote the contracting of innovation services (Innovation in Business Sustainability Cheque for the year 2021) catalogued by the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia and the adhesion of the companies providing the services.

CATEGORY G Other Innovation Services
Service code: ISE 2021-1. Service: Implementation of measures to promote innovation in sustainability by calculating the company's carbon footprint.
Service Code: ISE 2021-2. Service: Implementation of measures to promote innovation in sustainability by calculating the water footprint.
The particular requirements and maximum eligible expenditure for each service are set out in point 3 of the call for proposals.
The deadline for the implementation and payment of the projects submitted is from the date of submission of the application for aid until six months after notification of the decision to grant aid. This deadline may not be extended. In addition, formal justification must be provided no later than two months after the end of the implementation period, which may not be extended.
4. Regulatory bases:
Order of 10 January 2017 of the Regional Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment approving the regulatory bases for aid from the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia to encourage the contracting of innovation services by regional SMEs (innovation cheque), co-financed by the ERDF, published in the BORM no. 19 of 25 January 2017, modified by the Order of 10 March 2020 of the Regional Ministry of Enterprise, Industry and Spokesperson, published in the BORM no. 64 of 17 March 2020.
5. Funding
The available appropriation available for the call for grants is two hundred thousand euros (200.000 €) under budget item 1610.710A.74002/2021.
This appropriation will be financed up to 80%, or at a higher co-financing rate if agreed, with resources from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), i.e. up to EUR 160,000, allocated to the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia under the global grant by Commission Decision C(2015)3408.
6. Amount of the grant:
The maximum grant intensity will be at a flat rate of 75 % in terms of gross grant on the maximum eligible expenditure, in accordance with the provisions of the Aid section of the Annex to the above-mentioned Order of 10 January 2017 of the Regional Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment.

The grant application and supplier application forms are available in the standard forms provided at the following address: www.institutofomentomurcia.es/infodirecto and may be submitted from 9:00 a.m. on the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia until 31 March 2022.
