CTCON attends the 1st Conference held at COITIRM to analyse the problem of noise in the Region of Murcia

Aim of the project

CTCON attends the Conference organised by COITIRM with the participation of municipal technicians, representatives of political parties and professional associations to analyse the management of noise impact, tools to combat it and to debate the different electoral programmes in relation to the noise problem.

José Antonio Serrano, Mayor of Murcia, and César Nicolás, Dean of COITIRM, were in charge of the inauguration of the conference. Afterwards, Antonio Javier Navarro Cordón, as representative of the PP, Alfonso Martínez Baños (PSOE) José Manuel Pancorbo de la Torre (VOX), Jose Juan Morcillo (Ciudadanos), Víctor Egio (PODEMOS) and María José Campillo (Más Región-Verdes Equo) participated.

The participants in the round table discussions were Jesús Jiménez from HOYTU (Federation of Entrepreneurs of the Region of Murcia), María Dolores Muñoz from Abogados por el ruido, Lola Jiménez from the Association of Architects, Vicente Sarrias from the Association of Industrial Engineers and María Huertas from EuroVértice.

The closing ceremony was attended by the councillor for the environment, Juan María Vázquez.

During the course of the conference, the following will take place Sound Walks by the city to characterise the perception of the acoustic environment and relate it to the objective information obtained from the urban noise analysis.
