CTCON: Two decades bringing technological innovation to the construction industry

Aim of the project

Yesterday we celebrated our 20th anniversary in conjunction with the General Assembly. During these two decades of dedication and commitment, we have left an indelible mark on the industry, revolutionising traditional methods and processes through the implementation of cutting-edge solutions. Thanks to this, we have managed to become an undisputed benchmark in the field of technological innovation for the construction sector.

Since our founding in 2003, we have worked tirelessly to drive the development and adoption of advanced building technologies. Through a combination of cutting-edge research, strategic collaborations and a multidisciplinary team of experts, we have been able to provide innovative and practical solutions that have completely transformed the landscape of the construction industry.

Over the past 20 years, we have pioneered the development of revolutionary digital tools that have optimised the design, planning and construction processes. Our commitment to excellence and efficiency is reflected in our many projects, where we have managed to reduce execution times, improve building quality and significantly reduce costs.

We have been recognised for our sustainable approach and our commitment to eco-friendly constructionThe project has been a driving force behind research into more environmentally friendly materials, the implementation of energy efficiency systems and the adoption of sustainable building practices, thus contributing to the creation of greener buildings and the reduction of the industry's environmental footprint.

In addition, we have driven the implementation of technologies such as virtual and augmented reality, additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things in the construction industry. These innovations have enabled architects, engineers and builders to visualise projects more accurately, simulate complex scenarios, optimise resource management and improve workplace safety.

During the event, CTCON's gold insignia was awarded to the Minister of Development and Infrastructures in recognition of his work, D. José Ramón Díez de Revengaand the previous CTCON presidents, DFulgencio Belando Aragón (2003-2008) y DMiguel Mengual Ruiz (2008-2017), as the main drivers of research, development and innovation (R&D&I) as a key element for business competitiveness.

At the end of the event, the inauguration of the centre's new facilities began, where our technicians presented to the attendees the various lines of research that are currently being developed.

As part of our anniversary, we have announced exciting future projects that reaffirm our position as a leader in construction technology innovation. These include research in new areas such as modular construction, 3D printing and artificial intelligence applied to project management.

CTCON's success in these 20 years would not have been possible without the support and trust of our clients, collaborators and partners, whom we thank for their continued support. During this journey, CTCON reaffirms its commitment to continue to drive innovation, sustainability and efficiency in construction, leading the way to a promising future for the sector.

We will continue to work hard to deliver disruptive solutions and advance our goal of transforming the construction industry through technology.
