The aim of the conference is to present the latest advances, experiences and innovations in soil stabilisation and improvement technologies with hydraulic conglomerates and in the recycling of pavements in situ, as sustainable solutions in the construction and rehabilitation of pavements. These environmentally friendly technologies are conducive to long-lasting pavements; they also allow the materials used to be reused in rehabilitation, avoiding the classic solutions of reinforcement by accumulating layer upon layer. The importance of these binders will also be discussed, from current cements to those known as HRB (Hydraulic Road Binder) or binders specially designed to improve the characteristics of soils. In short, the aim is to disseminate the possibilities of these techniques that use hydraulic binders, achieving technically optimal and sustainable alternatives.
