The Governing Council has approved the allocation of one million euros to encourage small and medium-sized enterprises in the Region of Murcia to contract innovation services that increase their competitiveness and contribute to maintaining and generating quality employment.
This ICT Cheque programme, managed through the Instituto de Fomento (Info), is expected to benefit 110 SMEs.
In this way, companies can access advanced solutions for the planning and implementation of information and communication technologies that enable them to access new markets, increase their sales and improve productivity and competitiveness.
The ICT Voucher is intended to be an agile means to enable SMEs that are new or inexperienced in the acquisition of external ICT services to take the first steps to innovate in their management and organisational methods. The aid received by each SME can reach up to 12,000 euros and 75 percent of the investment made.
The services that can be contracted from suppliers authorised by Info will be for ICT tools for the internal management of the company (software for economic control, inventory, clients, processes...); ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) information systems; or for the implementation of advanced e-commerce portals that make use of social networks and demand analysis tools for decision-making; or applications for tablets and smartphones to leverage the sales of the beneficiary company.
This regional government initiative to support small and medium-sized enterprises is co-financed with resources from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
