The problems caused by tropospheric ozone in the population are not minor. And exposure to this pollutant is striking. According to the study carried out by Ecologists in Action in 2017, almost 13 million people in Spain breathed air polluted by ozone, taking as a reference the target value set by the European Union.
The Captor project, which stands for "Collective Awareness Platform for Tropospheric Ozone Pollution", will offer its conclusions and results at the end of this year after three years of measuring levels of this pollutant, although all the measurements that have been taken so far can be consulted in real time while they are being carried out, through the mobile application CaptorAir, and will be available as open data for all the people and entities that wish to consult them.
