Objective of the project

The objective of the project is to develop and validate a new method for measuring thermal conductivity in fluid, viscous or granular materials using an equipment designed for solid materials, giving to it great versatility and thus achieving a valuable tool for the research and development of insulating materials.

The project is financed with a LOST FUND GRANT of 100% of the investment or eligible expenditure, amounting to 60,057.50 Euros, 80% of which is co-financed (i.e. up to 48,046.00 Euros) by the ERDF Global Grant, of which the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia is the intermediary body.
