Objective of the project

To develop new working formulas for bituminous mixtures by incorporating polymeric plastic waste, the management of which is currently an environmental problem, and to lower the manufacturing temperature by means of bitumen foaming techniques, thus achieving energy and economic savings without reducing the mechanical performance and durability of these mixtures.

The project is financed with a 100% NON-PREFUNDING GRANT of 72,851.50 Euros of the eligible investment or expenditure, co-financed at 80% (i.e. up to 58,281.20 Euros) by the ERDF Global Grant, of which the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia is the intermediary body.
