Approaching the end of the Erasmus+ project Sustainabuildin which we are participating together with the universities UCN, PXL y SAMKhas been published a manual in the form of a board with information on the Sustainable Development Goals and their relation to the construction sector. A version has also been created in the form of a pdf document.
Among the contents of the manual, we highlight the description of some of the buildings constructed in Spain that can be considered most relevant in terms of sustainability. To name but a few:
- Bioclimatic house in Santiago de la Ribera, Murcia - ECOPROYECTA
- BIOVALVO experimental building. University of A Coruña - CASADOBE
- CaixaForum Madrid - Herzog & de Meuron
- Docks for the navy in Cartagena - Cementos La Cruz
- Passive thatched house in San Medel, Burgos - Meta2020 Arquitectos
These and other examples, located in our country and also in the other countries participating in the project (Denmark, Belgium and Finland), have been analysed in order to relate their characteristics to the sustainable development objectives established by the UN.
We hope that all this information will be useful and inspiring.
