The aim is to improve the energy efficiency of SMEs and companies in the industrial sector in the Region of Murcia by incorporating new energy-saving systems into their production processes, which reduce consumption and limit carbon dioxide emissions and, as a result, strengthen their competitiveness. It is endowed with a total amount of 21.2 million euros.

What are they used for?
The aid will be used to implement new actions to reduce final energy consumption in the industrial sector, the investments to be subsidised will be for the improvement of technology in industrial equipment and processes, as well as the implementation of energy management systems.
In the detail of these, subsidies may be granted for the promotion of investments, the replacement of old equipment and installations or for the acquisition of equipment or the development of programmes aimed at the implementation of a new energy management system.

Who can access?
Companies that are considered SMEs or large companies in the industrial sector, whose CNAE 2009 is between 07 and 33 and 35 to 39 and energy services companies.

What do I get subsidised?
Upgrading of technology in industrial equipment and processes
Actions to improve technology in industrial equipment and processes that reduce final energy consumption in the industrial facilities of the activity groups whose CNAE 2009 is among those listed in Article 6 of the bases.
Measure 2. Implementation of energy management systems:
The implementation of energy management systems that reduce the final energy consumption of the industrial facilities of the activity groups whose CNAE 2009 is within those listed in Article 6 of the bases.

How much do you subsidise?
The amount shall be the lesser of the following three amounts:
- 30 % of the eligible investment of the project.
- The following percentages on the eligible cost depending on the size of the company: 30% (Large Company), 40% (Medium Company) and 50% (Small Company).
- The maximum amount of subsidy per application may in no case exceed 3,000,000 euros.
