The ECOCEM project is based on the development of hydraulic binders with a near-zero carbon footprint from geopolymers. It has started industrial tests in the company BORTUBO SA, together with our technicians.
In the manufacturing process of these new products will reduce the energy consumption and the CO2 emissionscompared to traditional concretewhich It will also lead to a significant reduction in energy consumption and considerable cost savings.
These innovative materials are also highly resistant to certain environments, making them more efficient than current materials.
CEMENTOS CRUZ, CONSTRUCCIONES URDECON, UNIVERSIDAD POLITECNICA DE CARTAGENA and UNIVERSIDAD DE ALICANTE are also participating in addition to CTCON and the company BORTUBO.
