PROFILE REQUIRED FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN FOR THE CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY CENTRE OF THE REGION OF MURCIA (CTCON)
Person Profile.
The Centro Tecnológico de la Construcción Región de Murcia, a company dedicated to carrying out projects and activities of Research, Development and Innovation, is looking for a technician to join its staff in the area of Digital Construction. The Centre develops R&D&I projects in the field of new technologies focused on the construction, building and infrastructure sector.
Your day-to-day work will consist of designing and creating, within the research team, new prototypes and developments for the construction sector that are based on digital technologies.
We are looking for a creative and innovative developer of digital solutions, who must be able to program and know the environment of technologies that make up Industry 4.0.
You should have programming experience at least in Python and some other programming language currently in wide use.
You will also need to have a strong interest in a number of functions, to which you will devote your time:
-Identify current problems in the construction sector that can be solved using digital technologies, in collaboration with the rest of the team.
-Design and develop the prototype of these digital solutions.
-Document and write reports on the purpose and evolution of the projects we develop.
-Learn about the world of R&D in order to advance your career in this field.
Your time will be divided between the following main functions: ideation, programming and documentation.
Preferably, you should be a computer engineer, or have professional training in software skills.
