5115 Extract from the Resolution of 21 September 2020 of the President of the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia on the multiannual call for applications for aid to alleviate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in industrial and mining companies through the reciprocal guarantee system.
Beneficiaries: Companies and self-employed persons, included in the definition of SMEs, facing a lack of liquidity or other significant damage as a result of the outbreak of COVID-19, and, in general, whose economic results are affected as a result of the state of alarm decreed as a result of COVID-19, which have workplaces located in the Region of Murcia, provided that their head office is in Spain, belonging to sections B and C of CNAE 2009, which have a formalised loan operation with a financial institution and a guarantee operation with a reciprocal guarantee company.
Amount of the subsidy: Subsidy by way of subsidisation of the cost of the guarantee established in the guarantee contract between the beneficiary and the mutual guarantee company of 0.75% per year on the outstanding balance and up to the maximum term of the guarantee with the limit of the first 15 annual instalments of the guaranteed loan, with no limit as to the amount of the guarantee. The maximum amount of subsidy to be provided by the Instituto de Fomento to each beneficiary may not exceed 50,000 eur. The amount of the cost of the guarantee will be paid in one lump sum to the beneficiary of the aid once the supporting account has been submitted. For the calculation of the amount of unearned commissions, a discount rate equal to the European Commission reference rate at the time the aid is granted, plus a fixed margin of 100 basis points, will be used.
Applications for support may be submitted from 9 a.m. on 29 September until 30 October 2020.
