EATA Granada 2019 Congress Summary
The 8th Congress of the European Asphalt Technology Association will be held at the University of Granada from 3 to 5 June. During these days the following asphalt issues will be discussed:
- Mechanical, thermal, chemical and/or physical properties and characteristics of bitumen, additives, bituminous mixes and mix design.
- Sustainability and environmental aspects of bituminous materials in road and transport infrastructures (railways, ports, airports, etc.).
- Design and modelling of pavement behaviour, structural assessment, characterisation and calculation of stress/strain, vehicle/road interaction, climatic effects and numerical modelling for the different bituminous layers of roads and other transport infrastructures (railways, ports, airports...).
- New mixes and mix components, including innovative intelligent pavements.
- Construction and rehabilitation procedures as well as asphalt production technologies.
