By clicking on a particular station on the interactive map http://www.ica.miteco.es/ The user will be able to see details of the levels of each pollutant, the reasons for determining the quality level assigned and a history of the last few months indicating the percentage of days according to the quality level.
To determine the level, the Index analyses the status of five key health pollutants: particulate matter smaller than 10 micrometres in diameter (PM10); particulate matter smaller than 2.5 micrometres in diameter (PM2.5); ground-level ozone (O3); nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and sulphur dioxide (SO2).
