Call for applications for 2021 grants for research and development projects in artificial intelligence and other digital technologies and their integration into value chains.<\/p>\n
Companies may be beneficiaries of this aid.<\/p>\n
These grants will finance industrial research and experimental development projects related to one of the following digital technologies: <\/p>\n
- Artificial intelligence: machine learning; deep learning; neural networks; <\/p>\n
- Internet of Things (IoT); <\/p>\n
- Massive data and information processing technologies (Open\/Linked\/Big Data); <\/p>\n
- High performance computing; <\/p>\n
- Cloud computing; <\/p>\n
- Natural language processing; <\/p>\n
- Cybersecurity; biometrics and digital identity; <\/p>\n
- Blockchain; <\/p>\n
- Robotics; <\/p>\n
- Virtual and augmented reality, special effects and simulation; <\/p>\n
- 3D printing and additive manufacturing. <\/p>\n
The granting of aid under this call for applications is governed by the provisions of Order ECE\/1301\/2019 establishing the regulatory bases. <\/p>\n
The budget of the call amounts to \u20ac105 million, divided into \u20ac50 million for industrial research projects and \u20ac55 million for experimental development projects. <\/p>\n
With the intensities or percentages of aid indicated in section 4 of the call, industrial research projects with a minimum budget of \u20ac500,000 and a maximum of \u20ac10 million may be financed. In the case of experimental development projects, the minimum budget will be \u20ac300,000 and the maximum \u20ac5 million. <\/p>\n
The beneficiaries will have to co-finance the remaining percentage. <\/p>\n
The application period for these grants is now open and will end on 8 October 2021. <\/p>\n
