{"id":17109,"date":"2021-12-23T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-12-23T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ctcon-rm.com\/vigilancia\/primer-informe-sobre-el-estado-de-la-edificacion-sostenible-en-espana\/"},"modified":"2021-12-23T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2021-12-23T00:00:00","slug":"primer-informe-sobre-el-estado-de-la-edificacion-sostenible-en-espana","status":"publish","type":"vigilancia","link":"https:\/\/ctcon-rm.com\/en\/vigilancia\/first-report-on-the-state-of-sustainable-building-in-spain\/","title":{"rendered":"First report on the state of sustainable building in Spain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Green Building Council Spain<\/strong>&nbsp;(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cicconstruccion.com\/search?q=GBCe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GBCe<\/a>) has presented this Thursday, 16 December, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gbce.es\/documentos\/Informe_Pais_GBCe_2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GBCe 2021 Country Report<\/a>the first open document analysing the&nbsp;<strong>current state of the building sector<\/strong>&nbsp;and their<strong>&nbsp;progress in the transformation towards a sustainable model.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Among the conclusions of the report is that the amount of&nbsp;<strong>voluntary environmental certifications issued<\/strong>&nbsp;are a&nbsp;<strong>direct and simple indicator to measure demand<\/strong>&nbsp;in sustainability in building. In this sense,&nbsp;<strong>Spain began the 21st century with virtually no demand for certified buildings.<\/strong>&nbsp;with national or international sustainability labels, such as Verde. Despite this, and although in recent years there has been a boom in the sector,&nbsp;<strong>currently less than 0.1% of all constructed or rehabilitated buildings have some form of certification.<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>the Country Report aims to&nbsp;<strong>to organise and structure the work for the coming years<\/strong>In this respect, the EU is trying to get the actions right in order to stimulate and activate demand, which is essential to bring about a more accelerated transformation of the sector. In this line,&nbsp;<strong>GBCe has outlined a framework for action<\/strong>&nbsp;subject to&nbsp;<strong>five levers for achieving change in demands<\/strong>&nbsp;of buildings and cities: the&nbsp;<strong>communication<\/strong>the&nbsp;<strong>training<\/strong>the&nbsp;<strong>regulation<\/strong>the&nbsp;<strong>funding<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>innovation<\/strong>. All these levers complement and need each other to achieve the objectives of the study.<\/p>\n<p>On the one hand,&nbsp;<strong>communication reinforces the other four<\/strong>while&nbsp;<strong>funding is necessary for innovation<\/strong>&nbsp;and has to accompany regulation. In addition, the&nbsp;<strong>training<\/strong>&nbsp;is the&nbsp;<strong>basis for the others to take effect on a large scale<\/strong>.
