Innovative pavement solution for urban heat island mitigation
Aim of the project
The main objective of this European Climate Change adaptation project is to demonstrate the mitigation of the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect through the use of a previously developed innovative reflective pavement using a mixture of transparent synthetic binder, lime aggregate and pigments of titanium oxide and iron oxides.
