Workshop on : Energy Efficient Construction".

Aim of the project

The Passivhaus standard will be the main topic to be discussed at the meeting, which will bring together experts in energy efficiency.

The Murcia Regional Federation of Construction Businessmen (FRECOM) will be holding a new edition of the 'FRECOM Workshops' on 11 March, organised in collaboration with the Construction Technology Centre. (CTCON)the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia (INFO) and the Passivhaus platform.

 

The topic to be discussed at this new meeting is 'Energy Efficient Construction'. It will take place on Wednesday 11 March, from 16:30 hours in the auditorium of CROEM.

 

The day will begin at 16:30 with the opening address by the president of the Construction Technology Centre and vice-president of FRECOM, Antonio Navarro Mompeán.

 

At 16:45 the first intervention will be 'The current situation: Modifications to DB-HE' by the head of the Energy and Insulation area of the Construction Technology Centre, Francisco Moral Moreno.

Near-zero consumption buildings' will be the third presentation to take place at 17:30, given by the delegate of the Passivhaus Building platform in the Region of Murcia, Asier Elorza Echebarría.

6 p.m.: 'Practical application of the Passivhaus standard to the Mediterranean climate', by the director of the 12th Passivhaus conference. PEP Board.

At 18:30, the last talk will be given by the head of Exxacon projects, José María Gutiérrez Doña, entitled 'Successful case: housing development under the Passivhaus standard'. The closing ceremony will take place at 19:30.
