Under the competitive tendering system, grants are awarded to SMEs in the Region of Murcia that carry out external promotion actions for the opening of new markets or the introduction of new products, and whose project activity is located in the Region of Murcia.
The programme aims to promote international business strategies that improve strategic positioning in foreign markets.
Amount of the subsidy.
The maximum amount of subsidy to be provided by the Instituto de Fomento to each beneficiary may not exceed 150,000 euros under each call, and the maximum intensity of the subsidy may not exceed 50 % in terms of gross subsidy on eligible expenditure.
Eligible or eligible costs.
In order for the application to be considered eligible, the eligible costs of the project must reach a minimum amount of ten thousand euros (€10,000.00).
Eligible expenditure may include the following:
External consultancy costs for the preparation of a diagnosis of the competitive position of the company and its internationalisation potential with the aim of defining and justifying the main markets of action and for the preparation of International Marketing Plans in the selected markets of interest in order to define a specific strategy for international promotion in each of them and to facilitate the strategic in international markets. Maximum eligible cost: 2.000 €.
2. Individual prospecting of the company in the target markets for the implementation of work agendas. Together with the supporting account, the beneficiary must provide the agenda, with dates and results of the interviews. Maximum eligible cost: €8,000 - Maximum 4 trips.
3. Participation in international fairs and international exhibitions with its own stand, provided that they are not financed by the Aid Programme of the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia aimed at the international promotion of companies through participation in trade fairs and trade missions or other programmes of foreign promotion organisations, in other promotional actions of the company outside Spain, such as product demonstrations, "Temporary Shop" (exhibition or promotional action lasting 3-4 months), fashion shows, tastings, point-of-sale promotion or similar, and in international b2b business meetings to foster cooperation, with a previously closed agenda of contacts. Maximum eligible cost: 120.000 € - Maximum 5 trade fairs
4. International marketing actions. Actions developed by the company to promote and consolidate the positioning of its brands in international markets will be considered, provided that they are part of the opening of a new market or the launch of new products and do not involve current expenses of the export activity. Maximum eligible cost: 100,000 €.
5. Costs of registering trademarks and patents, health and similar registrations in the target markets of their products in the implementation of the internationalisation plan. Maximum eligible cost: 20,000 €.
6. Organisation of reverse missions and familiarisation and training trips. Minimum number of participants: 3 companies. Together with the supporting account, the beneficiary must provide, where appropriate, the agenda, programme of visits or training programme, with dates and results. Maximum eligible cost: 10.000 €.
7. Establishments abroad of a commercial or productive nature to improve the competitive position of the company in the target markets, provided that they do not involve the establishment and operation of distribution networks in other countries. Maximum total eligible cost: 40.000 €.
Submission and deadline.
Interested parties, including natural persons (individual entrepreneurs or self-employed), must apply to the Presidency of the Instituto de Fomento by submitting their applications and documentation electronically, in accordance with the form available at the Internet address: www.institutofomentomurcia.es/infodirecto.
Applications may be submitted from 9 a.m. on the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the BORM until 31 December 2019. or exhaustion of the budget of this call.
