This was agreed today by the Councillor for Development and Infrastructures, José Ramón Díez de Revenga, and the President of CTCON, Antonio Navarro, during a meeting in which the President of FRECOM, José Hernández, also took part.
Díez de Revenga stressed the importance of "starting to introduce actions that speed up the transition towards sustainable architecture and construction, which are promoted by the regional executive and are the basis of the new economic model promoted by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN) and the European Urban Agenda 2030".
The president of CTCON explained to the Regional Minister the different lines of research of the centre, as well as the main projects that are being developed, many of them for companies in the sector. The president of the centre insisted on CTCON's role as a driving force for companies to improve and become more competitive through R&D&I, and thanked the Regional Ministry for its commitment to promoting these activities for the region's companies. Finally, the president invited the minister to visit CTCON's facilities and to show first-hand the centre's potential in areas such as Circular Economy, Sustainable Construction and Digital Transformation.
