Since 26 January, the website of the Interministerial Commission for the incorporation of BIM (Building Information Modelling) methodology in public tenders has been available, from which you can access information on the situation of BIM in Spain, documentation, projects, and a library, among other aspects of interest.
In recent months, intensive work has been carried out on this website, which offers relevant information on the situation of BIM in Spain, technical documentation, as well as experiences and projects underway in the NSA using the BIM methodology.
The BIM Interministerial Commission website has an Observatory of BIM tendering in Spain, which uses an automated search tool and is updated periodically. It has also collected both different experiences of tendering construction projects in the General State Administration and its dependent bodies, as well as different experiences of management transformation for the implementation of BIM that are useful for the rest of the General State Administration and other Administrations.
Finally, it includes a Library containing various documents relevant to the implementation of BIM in public procurement, and will also contain the latest news and events on BIM in Spain and the rest of the world.
