ACEX organizes the course 'Introduction to BIM methodology for its use in road maintenance and operation'.

The objective of the course is to learn to technologically contextualize the BIM methodology -Building Information Modeling-, to know the state of implementation at national and international level, to understand the work process that entails the use of the BIM Methodology in the sector and how the implementation of this methodology can affect the current processes of the organization.

The integration of new technologies has a fundamental role in the search for the efficiency of the resources allocated to conservation. BIM is a collaborative work tool that allows you to create and manage construction projects in all their phases, from planning and design, through construction, to the final phase of operation, the longest stage in the life cycle of road infrastructure.

It is necessary to group and sort the information available on the various elements of the road. With the application of the BIM methodology to the care and maintenance of the road, we know at all times, the situation of the assets that compose it (in what state of conservation they are, their evolution in the future ...), allowing a correct planning and decision making that guarantee the safety of the users.

The course is aimed at managers, technical directors and delegates of road maintenance companies and concessionaires and is partially subsidized by the Fundae.
