Call for grants to encourage the hiring of innovation services by regional SMEs. Innovation in Business Sustainability Check
1. Beneficiaries:
SMEs whose activity is the subject of the project is located in the Autonomous Community of Murcia, of any sector of activity except those dedicated to fishing and aquaculture, to the primary production of agricultural products of Annex I of the Treaty, and the acquisition of vehicles for the transport of goods by road granted to companies that carry out road freight transport operations on behalf of others.
2. Purpose:
It is the object of this call, in accordance with the concession regime provided for in article 22 of Law 7/2005, of November 18, on Subsidies of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, to promote the contracting of innovation services (Cheque Innovation in Business Sustainability for the year 2021) cataloged by the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia and the adhesions of the companies that provide the services
3. Subsidized Services:

Service Code: ISE 2021-1. Service: Implementation of measures to promote innovation in sustainability by calculating the company's carbon footprint
Service Code: ISE 2021-2. Service: Implementation of measures to promote innovation in sustainability by calculating the water footprint
The particular requirements and the maximum eligible expenditure for each service are established in the third point of the call.
The deadline for the implementation and payment of the projects submitted ranges from the submission of the aid application to six months from the notification of the decision granting the aid. This period may not be extended. In addition, the formal justification must be made no later than two months that can be extended from the end of the execution period.
4. Regulatory bases:
Order of 10 January 2017 of the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment by which approve the regulatory bases of the helps of the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia to encourage the contracting of innovation services by the regional SMEs (check of innovation), co-financed by the FEDER, published in the BORM nº 19 dated January 25, 2017, modified by the Order of March 10, 2020 of the Ministry of Enterprise, Industry and Spokesperson, published in BORM No. 64 dated March 17, 2020
5. Financing
The available credit available to the grant call is two hundred thousand euros (€ 200,000) from budget item 1610,710A.74002/2021.
This credit will be financed up to 80%, or with a higher co-financing rate in the case that is agreed appropriately, with resources from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), that is, up to 160,000 euros, allocated to the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia under the Global Grant through Decision C(2015)3408, of the Commission
6. Amount of the subsidy:
The maximum intensity of the subsidy will be at a fixed rate of 75% in terms of gross subsidy on the maximum eligible expenditure, in accordance with the provisions of the Aid section of the Annex to the aforementioned Order of January 10, 2017 of the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment.
Deadline for Submission of Applications:
The application for subsidy and adhesion of suppliers are available in the standardized models that are provided at the address: www.institutofomentomurcia.es/infodirecto and may be submitted from 9:00 a.m. on the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia until March 31, 2022.
