To access the European market, construction products must comply with the quality and safety requirements defined in the Construction Products Regulation 305/2011, including mechanical resistance and stability, fire safety, hygiene, health and the environment, safety in use, noise protection, and energy savings and thermal insulation. Manufacturers or their representatives in the EU are responsible for ensuring that their products comply with the applicable requirements and must indicate the conformity of their product through the CE marking.

The Construction Products Regulation establishes how to express the performance of construction products uniformly throughout Europe and how to affix the CE marking on those products. By affixing the CE marking, the manufacturer, distributor, or their authorized representative assumes responsibility for the product's conformity with the declared performance.

Due to its significance, CTCON has decided to organize a FREE seminar dedicated to clarifying these fundamental aspects. Our aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of the CE marking for construction products.

The seminar seeks to clarify these aspects from the different perspectives of the stakeholders involved in the process: construction product manufacturers, notified bodies, users, and the Administration.

This event is aimed at construction product manufacturers, product marketers, technicians and specifiers (architects, technical architects, engineers, etc.), and production department technicians.

The seminar will take place on November 15, 2023, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the Salón Sótano del Edificio CROEM C/Acisclo Díaz nº 5C, Murcia.
