CTCON attends the First Conference held at COITIRM to analyze the noise problem in the Region of Murcia

The CTCON attends the event organized by COITIRM, where municipal technicians, political party representatives, and professional associations come together to analyze noise impact management, tools to combat it, and discuss different electoral programs related to the noise problem.

 

The opening of the event was conducted by José Antonio Serrano, Mayor of Murcia, and César Nicolás, Dean of COITIRM. Subsequently, there were contributions from Antonio Javier Navarro Cordón, representing the PP, Alfonso Martínez Baños (PSOE), José Manuel Pancorbo de la Torre (VOX), Jose Juan Morcillo (Ciudadanos), Víctor Egio (PODEMOS), and María José Campillo (Más Región-Verdes Equo).

 

Participants in the panel discussions included Jesús Jiménez from HOYTU (Federation of Entrepreneurs of the Region of Murcia), María Dolores Muñoz from Lawyers for Noise, Lola Jiménez from the College of Architects, Vicente Sarrias from the College of Industrial Engineers, and María Huertas from EuroVértice.

 

The event concluded with the participation of the Minister of the Environment, Juan María Vázquez.

Throughout the event, Paseos Sonoros were conducted in the city to characterize the perception of the acoustic environment and relate it to the objective information obtained from urban noise analysis.
