Objective of the project

The objectives of the project are, on the one hand, to investigate virucidal treatments for obtaining antiviral and antibacterial surfaces of cement-based urban objects, generating an antiviral activity that lasts over time and, on the other hand, to develop high-strength concretes in order to obtain urban furniture of reduced thickness that can also inactivate different pathogens, including SARS-CoV-2, on its surface.
