Objective of the project

Objective:

The overall objective of this project is to develop new asphalt materials for the construction of smart roads, incorporating new capabilities such as self-repair, energy emission and reception, improved road safety, and reduced maintenance tasks and costs. By giving roads magnetic/electrical properties, they can react to or be detected by devices associated with magnetic fields.
